| Trikuta college organises drawing competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 17: Trikuta Degree College organized drawing and collage making competition on the eve of Independent Day, here today.
The theme of the event was ‘My vision of Independent India’.
Chairman Sai Charitable Trust Dr. Rooplal Sharma was the chief guest while chairpersons Suman Sharma and Principal Trikuta College Dr Gayatri Gupta were the guest of honour.
Mubshair, one of the competitors, made drawing showing that our temples are not safe even after sixty- five years of Independence. Shiv Manhas's collage showed that he is very happy in Independent India. While Parul collage showed the status of women in Today’s India.
The event was judged by Sunita Magotra, Kashefa Yasin and Renu Verma.
Shiv Manhas was unanimously nominated as the winner in Collage making competition while Raj Kumar was adjudged as the winner in drawing competition.
Cultural Coordinator of the College, Ravinder Sharma, presented the vote of thanks.
