A meeting of the Citizens Forum held here today, under the Chairmanship of its President R K Chadha expressed serious concern over the electric crematorium remaining non functional even after about a decade of its installation at the Jogi Gate cremation ground. As a result of it huge amount spent on it is lying blocked and going waste. The forum observed that a large number of individual donors and Philanthropist organizations had donated huge amounts for installing electric crematorium, but non operation of the same ever since its installation is causing concern among these donors, who smell some rot in the whole affair. Voluntary organizations like Red Cross Society, Sava Samiti and some social groups and Joined hands to collect the donations for the electric crematorium at Jogi Gate.
