| Dy Registrar among 7 officials suspended | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Aug 17:
Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Mr. R S Chib on Wednesday paid surprise visit to
J&K State Board of Technical Education (J&KSBOTE) during which he found 7 officials absent.
The absentee officials included Deputy Registrar Talat Noor, Section Officer K A Dewani, Head Assistants Daleep Kumar and A R Wani, Accountant Vijay Kumar, Senior Assistant Nilofar Jan and Computer Operator M Y Najar.
The Minister directed Commissioner Secretary, Technical Education to suspend the absentees with immediate effect. He also ordered action against Head Assistant Ali Mohammad, who had written leave applications on behalf of Head Assistant A. R Wani and Computer Operator M Y Najar without any intimation or communiqué from these officials.
Meanwhile, the Minister called upon the employees to attend their duties regularly. He said the government is keen to bring improvement in work culture, adding no compromise will be made on that account.
