| Woman dies mysteriously | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 17:
Mystery shrouded the death of a woman, whose body was today found from a canal in Kanachak, in the city outskirts, official sources said.
They said that Shakuntala Devi wife of Bal Krishan of Kanachak had gone missing from her residence since yesterday afternoon, mysteriously.
“Today her body was noticed by the people in the canal at Kana Chak following which it was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital by the concerned police team for legal formalities,” the official sources said.
The family members of the deceased, official sources said, also reached the hospital and protested against the suspicious death and alleged that she was murdered.
“Our daughter was murdered and police should arrest the accused,” a relative of the deceased was heard shouting in the GMCH.
