| 1 killed, 2 injured in accident at Bhaderwah | | Absence of doctors, at hospital evokes protest | | Bhaderwah , Dec 01 At least one person was killed and two injured, one of them seriously when an ill fated Minibus they were traveling skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Mallano about 4 kilometers from Bhaderwah town. Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a Matador bearing Registration Number, JK-06 0929 which was on its way to Bhaderwah city from Manthala skidded of the road after the driver of the Mini Bus failed to negotiate the curve and fell into a deep gorge. Driver of the vehicle died in hospital while other two persons including the owner of the vehicle were injured. Sources said that the injured persons were brought to SDH Bhaderwah where the driver breathed his last as there was no doctor to attend the injured, neither there was any ambulance at the hospital for shifting them to district Hospital Doda. However after the people of the town protested one of the doctors reached the hospital and after examining the injured declared the driver Farman Ali Khan S/O Ab Rashid Khan of Sungli village dead. People allege that the driver could have been saved if the he would have been provided immediate treatment or shifted to district hospital. “There are three ambulances in the hospital but we were told that all of them are not in running condition”, Gh Rasool Tak told News Agency of Kashmir, “Such is the condition of hospital in chief ministers constituency what would be the condition of far-flung area”, he added.
