| NPSU clean sweeps GDC Akhnoor Student Union elections | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 18: National Panther Students Union (NPSU) has clean swept the elections of Student Union in Government Degree College Akhnoor by capturing all the posts of the including President, Vice President and General Secretary.
Early in the morning elections for CRs of GDC Akhnoor were held under the supervision of College Principal and Staff. During which 15 CRs were elected. Later nominations for the post of President, Vice President and General Secretary were invited. Two nominations were received for the post of General Secretary from Avinash Basson and Shashi Pal.
In the election for the post of General Secretary, Avinash Basson 1got 0 out of 15 votes where as Shashi Paul got only 5.
Bobby Kumar was declared as President while Rakesh Kumar was declared as Vice President unanimously, as there was no other nomination filed for the post of President and Vice President.
Pushvinder Singh Manhas (State Sr. Vice President YP and Incharge NPSU) and Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial President NPSU) congratulated the newly elected office bearers and said that the hard work done by the NPSU and YP activists of Akhnoor Tehsil is appreciable and it is the result of their hard work only due to which
