Home Guard Welfare Association held meet

JAMMU, August 18: An emergency meeting of the executive body of All Jammu and Kashmir Home Guard welfare Association Jammu was held under the leadership of Kamla Sharma, president of the Association at Mubarak Mandi Complex where the association decided to give full support to Anna Hazari.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamla Sharma president of the Association said that the case of J&K Home Guard Jawans is pending with the state Government for the last so many years but so far nothing has been done by the state government to redress their problems.
She said even the educationists of the J&K Home Guard have met to all VIPs at their office chamber at Delhi who had assured them that the State Government should be advised to full fill their genuine demands but nothing has been done so far.
She said that no doubt there is corruption in our India but there is much corruption in the J&K State and no one bothers for the poor people like the Jawans of J&K Home Guards who are getting only Rs 450/- or so in a month as their salaries.
