SVO presents challans in trap cases

Jammu, August-20 (JNF):- State Vigilance Organization today presented challan against Mohd Yaseen then Senior Assistant in the office of
Block Medical Office Batote for accepting Rs 3000/- as illegal gratification from the complainant.
According to the case that on December 21, 2010 that one Rajinder Singh Manhas posted as Head Pharmacist at Sanasar and getting retired in the month of February 2011 approached the said senior assistant for process the case of his pension but the senior assistant demanded Rs 3000/- for same. The complainant approached VOJ and VOJ registered a case and laid a trap in which the said Senior
Assistant Mohd Yaseen caught red-handed and a case u/s 5(2) J&K PC Act 2006 r/w section 161 RPC. Today after completion of Investigation Challan was presented in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu.
Meanwhile another challan presented by the VOJ in a trap case in which Gian Chand then Girdawar (Naib Saddar Ganango) in the office of Deputy Commissioner Reasi and Munshi Ram then Patwari Halqa Sari Tehsil & District Reasi who were caught red-handed by VOJ while accepting bribe of Rs 2500/- as bribe.
As per the challan that on FIR NO 24/2010 u/s 5(2) J&K PC
Act 2006 r/w section 161 RPC was registered in P/S VOJ on the
complaint of Gandharav Singh. In the complaint he had submitted that
he had land about 7 Kanals at Village Devi Grah Reasi, he approached
the Gian Chand for issuance of Khasra Girdawari who demanded Rs 2500/-
for providing the same, the complainant requested that he cannot pay
the huge amount but he did not agree at all and asked the complainant
to come on Sunday on September 12, 2010 in the office of Deputy
Commissioner Reasi along with demanded amount Rs 2500/-. Upon this
complainant filed this complaint, on the basis of this complaint VOJ
constituted a trap team and laid trap and today after completion of
investigation presented in the Court. JNF
