BJP inaction to help PP
8/20/2011 9:34:52 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,August 20 :- The suspension of suspended MLAs , if left unattended is likely to cost the party dearly. Political analysts believe inaction on part of the BJP will help the Panthers Party.
Although the party high command tries to present a bold face but the sting that was the trade mark of the party is missing. The frequent visits of central leaders is keeping the party alive in Jammu, opine the analysts.
The BJP received a severe jold after seven of its MLAs resorted to cross voting during election to a few vacencies in Legislative Council early this year. The ground gained by the party during Amarnath land row is slipping fast from its hold.
The loss BJP is going to favour the Panthers Party ultimately. Reports say the PDP was also eying the BJP caders for support during the coming elections.
The central leadership is confused. It has received two reports from Jammu-one favouring action against the erring MLAs and the other
seeking pardon for them.
