| 11th class girl student commits suicide | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 20: A 11th class girl student committed suicide at her residence in Gali Hajama, Jullaka Mohalla on Saturday, police said.
Aman Preet, 16, hanged herself to death with the hook of a ceiling fan. She was seen hanging by her family members who informed the police. Police shifted the body to the GMC hospital for legal formalities. Father of the deceased Ravinder Singh informed police that she was upset for the quite some time.
The reason behind the extreme step was not ascertained till late hours. However, Pacca Danga police has registered a case under section 174 Cr PC in this connection and has started investigating the matter.
