Despite Ramzan, Muslims coming close to BJP
Party organize convention against corruption in Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 20:- Although in past Muslims were seen keeping distance from Bhartiya Janta Party, there was majority of Muslims witnessed in BJP State level convention held at Rajouri even though fasting in the holy month of Ramazan.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Muslims had always opposed the policies of the BJP and looking it with the lenz of communism. However in Rajouri situation is far different where a large number of fasting Muslims were seen unfurling BJP flag of Lotus during BJP rally at Rajouri.

When asked about their participation, a Muslim fellow Mohammad Ramzan of Manjakote area said that BJP has remain no more a communal party and Muslims have found their space in it in the national and state body. He said that although he is on fast, he remain there in the party till afternoon.

Meanwhile in the programme State President Shamsher Singh targeted state and central government for shielding the corrupt politicians and officers. He said that state government led by Omar Abdullah and supported by Congress is also looting the public with both hands. He added that the government has failed in all fronts to provide the people basic facilities. He also highlighted the issue of Rajouri Poonch migrants and demanded equal deal to them at par with the Kashmiri migrants.

State Secretary Vibodh Gupta said that corruption has rises prices in the country and government is not taking the issue seriously. He said that state government is discriminating Jammu people and especially Rajouri Poonch have been kept at the mercy of God.

The was programme was also addressed by National leader Jagdish Mukhi-former minister of Delhi and 7 time MLA, State Secretary Vibodh Gupta, MLA Jugal Kishore, Senior leader Chander Parkash, Sat Sharma General Secretary, Senior leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta and District President Yogesh Sharma addressed the gathering.
