| Public darbar held at Haria Chack | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 20: To listen to the problems of the general public, MLC Subash Gupta today convened a Public Darbar at village Hari Chack of Tehsil Hiranagar.
Peoples of the Haria Chack and adjoining villages projected local demands which included, provision additional electric poles and transformers to meet the requirements of increasing population, development of a play ground, upgradation of Middle School Haria chack to High School .
Subash Gupta gave a patient hearing and assured that the projected demands would be conveyed to concerned departments for early redressal. MLC announced Rs 2 lakh for village Haria Chack and Rs 1 lakh each for village Jugial and Chhan Lal Din for repair and renovation of lanes and drains.
Gupta said that government is committed for equal development of all the three regions of the state with special focus on far flung, border and Kandi areas of the state. He appealed to the people to come forward to avail the benefit of central and state sponsored schemes.
