GDC Akhnoor celebrates Sadbhavana Diwas

Jammu, Aug 21: While paying rich homage to late late Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi, Govt Degree College, Akhnoor celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas here on Saturday.
On this occasion NSS unit of College organized a seminar in which volunteers shed the light on the importance of Sadbhavana Diwas and took the Sadbhavana pledge. Volunteers also spoke on the life and achievements of Rajiv Gandhi. NSS programme officer Rohini Jamwal highlighted the theme of "Sadbhavana Diwas" – to promote integration and communal harmony among the people of all religions and languages, and its motto - goodwill towards everyone and eschewing violence.
The programme concluded with the Sadbhavana rally which took off from the college. Hundreds of students and youth participated in this goodwill venture.
