| 10 RR organized ‘Iftaar’ party at Bhagwah (Doda) | | | Early Times Report
DODA, August 21: In an effort to strengthen the relationship with general public and to bridge the friendship gap between them, the 10 RR (Rashtriya Rifles) Unit of Bhagwah organized a Iftaar party at Bhagwah area of Doda District.
The Iftaar party drew a very enthusiastic response from the people of Bhagwah area with more than 300 people attending the function.
The Iftaar was followed by breaking of fast in the customary manner and after the Iftaar, a sumptuous dinner was also served on the occasion. A special arrangement for offering Namaz-e-Magrib was also made by the army.
However the Iftaar party was attended by locals, senior citizens, police of the area who appreciated the Army for holding such programme in the area for first time. It is said to be that after militancy, it was the army who hold Iftaar party in Bhagwah area.
Speaking on the occasion, Company Commander 10 RR Bhagwah thanked all the guest who participated in the Iftaar party and hope that the army would organize such more programmes in the area which was earlier affected by militancy.
