JAMMU, August 21: Grand Shobha yatra of Shri Krishan was taken out on the eve of Janamashtami.
People from all walks of life participated in the colourful procession (Jhanki).
Jhanki started from New Plot Radha Krishan Mandir, passed through Tali Morh, Prem Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Janipur, Vikas Nagar, Sarwal, Rehari and back to Radha Krishan temple at New Plot.
The Bhajans, chanting of mantras by the devotes further added to this ambience of the procession.
The prominent organizers include Mahant Ram Kumar Das, Sunil Dimple, Dwarka Nath Abrol, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Sham Saroop Gupta, Subhash Gupta, R P Abrol.
The procession was given heavy Police security. Arrangements of police was under the supervision of DSP SD Chauhan , SHO Sameer Jalani and many others officers of Police department.
