| Cricket final postponed for Sept 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
AKHNOOR, August 21: The final of 3rd Pawan Memorial (Twenty20) Cricket Tournament has been postponed for September one at 1.30 pm at Boys’ Higher Secondary School ground, here.
Scheduled to be played today, the title clash was shifted for other date due to lack of ground preparedness on part of the organizers. This tournament is being organised by Singh Cricket Club in association with Akhnoor Tehsil Cricket Committee.
“In the final, Adarsh Cricket Club Akhnoor shall take on Royal Vijayanta Cricket Club. We are expecting chairman of the JKCA, Mohd Aslam Goni as chief guest in the final,” chairman of Singh Club, Sham Singh Langeh told SAN.
