| Vishal Academy bags overall trophy in Taekwondo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, August 21: Vishal Academy won the overall trophy in the two-day 14th Jammu District Taekwondo Championship which was organised by District Taekwondo Association at Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, here today.
The second place went to Army School Domana while Army School BD Bari remained overall third in team championship on the basis of points earned by them.
In all, about 300 boys and girls, representing three clubs and 19 educational institutions of the state, participated in this competition.
President J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Anil Gupta was chief guest in the prize distribution function. Among others present were president Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Ved Parkash Sharma, Chander Mohan Sharma and PC Sharma.
The competition was officiated by Vikrant Narwalia, Arjun Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Anit Sharma, Mukta Gupta and Rajesh Sharma.
