| 2 bodies fished out from Chenab | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Aug 21: The bodies of two persons were last evening fished out by police from Chenab river at Salal Dam in Talwara area of Reasi.
Police said the bodies of Jugal Kishore (19), son of Dharam Chand, and Ganesh Kumar (24), son of Paras Ram, were found floating in river waters at Salal Dam Saturday evening.
The bodies were fished out by police and removed to the mortuary of Reasi district hospital. After post-mortem, these were handed over to their families for last rites.
The duo had drowned in Chenab waters after the oil tanker (JK02Q/8805) in which they were travelling had fallen into the river at Ramban on August 12 last.
Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified man was today recovered by police from Dera Baba in Reasi. It was kept in the district hospital mortuary for identification.
