JAMMU, Aug 21: An amount of Rs 20,000 was allegedly snatched by six persons from a man at Duggan in Bani area of Kathua Saturday evening.
Police said Kartar Chand, son of Chandu Thakur of Duggan, was robbed of a cash of Rs 20,000 by six persons of his village.
In a complaint lodged with Bani police station, he identified the accused as Bainto, wife of Gian Chand, her sons -- Dharam Chand, Mulkh Raj, Roshan Lal and Radhey Krishan – and Ishar Dass, son of Dinu, all residents of Duggan.
The accused were booked under sections 456, 382, 323 and 147 of RPC.
