| One commits suicide, 10 others make abortive bids | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 21: A man today allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence here while 10 others made abortive bids on their lives.
Tek Chand (50), son of Suraj Prakash of Chak Manga, Samba, consumed poison at his residence due to unknown reasons. He was shifted by his family to the Samba district hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, police said.
Ten others made abortive bids on their lives by consuming poison. They included Nikhil Sharma of Vijaypur, Veena of Rehari, Tarsem Kumar of Arnia, Nitin Gandotra of Shivaji Chowk, Nanak Nagar, Gourav of Muthi, Gagandeep of Mishriwala, Shivani of Shankar Vihar, Talab Tillo, Romesh Chander of Rehari, Vijay Kumar of Jourian, and Geeta Devi of Rajouri.
All of them were admitted to the GMC hospital. Cases in this regard were registered at the concerned police stations.
