JAMMU, Aug 21: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today conducted the entrance tests for management programmes (Openmat-XXX), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post Basic) for the sessions starting from January 2012 today. It also conducted Tier-1 test of UNESCO Science Olympiad
These entrance exams were organised in 311 examination centres accommodating 1,74,987 candidates (Open mat: 26,563; B.Ed.: 1,41,118; B.Sc. Nursing (PB):
4,262 and UNESCO Science Olympiad: 4,903).
Under Jammu Region, there were four examination centres for B Ed Entrance Test viz. 1201, Luthra College of Education, Talab Tillo, Jammu, 1207, Govt. Degree College, Rajouri and 1250, Govt. Degree College (Boys), Udhampur and 1235, Govt. Degree College, Doda. There was only one Examination Centre for Openmat-XXX and B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) Entrance Examinations, i.e., 1201, Luthra College of Education, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
