Bhalla dedicates toilet complex to Gandhi Nagar people | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 21:
Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla on Sunday inaugurated Air Condition Sulabh Toilet Complex at Apsara Road, Gandhi Nagar constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.53 lakh. The Toilet complex was constructed by Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) having one female toilet and 3 male toilets. Project Managar ERA S L Kapoor, Xen V K Raina, besides senior officers of ERA and other departments accompanied the Minister. Interacting with the locals, Bhalla said that the coalition government was committed to provide all basic amenities to the people. He said that the main focus of the government is to develop tourism sector in the state, for which various tourists attraction spots have been developed adding that construction work on Artificial lake is in full swing. Bhalla informed that a detailed project report has been submitted to Central Government for approval of the projects like Rs. 150 crore flyover project from Bikram Chowk to Satwari besides construction of tube wells, culverts and upgradation of nallahs in Gandhi Nagar constituency. Minister said that number of tube-wells with Over Head Tank has been constructed in Gandhi Nagar Constituency so far and the work on many others was in full swing. He said that about 10 receiving stations were being developed in various parts of his constituency and many of these have already been completed. He said the work on 6-lane road with a divider from Satwari to Kunjwani is in full swing adding that number of multipurpose halls is being constructed at various places for facilitating the people, he added. Later, the Minister attended a series of public meetings at Upper Barazalla, Raipur Satwari and interacted with the locals of the area.
