| Madan tours RS Pura villages, listens to people’s demands | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 21: Member Parliament, Madan Lal Sharma and Vice Chairman, State Advisory
Board for Development and Welfare of OBC, Kuldeep Raj Verma held a
public darbar at village Mana in Devigarh Panchayat of Suchetgarh
constituency in R S Pura block on Sunday.
ACD Jammu, Tehsildar R S Pura, BMO, BDO, engineers of PDD, PHE, R&B,
Flood Control, Irrigation, Block President Suchetgarh, Block President
R S Pura, Block President Bishnah, Sarpanches and Panches, prominent
citizens and large number of people of adjoining village attend the
public meeting.
People of the area put forth various demands which include
construction of 2 km road upto Shamshanghat, ladies bathroom,
replacement of conductor wire, new transformer for irrigation pumps,
ambulance for Devangarh Panchayat, constitution of Puli over Mana
canal, construction of link road from Naowali to Magowali,
compensation for damage of paddy during 2011 hailstorm, desilting of
canals, completion of receiving station at Sai etc.
Sharma gave a patient hearing to the people and said that coalition
government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was committed to
provide every facility to the people. He said last two years have
witnessed s massive infrastructure development in health, education,
PWD, PHE and education providing much relief to the people.
