| DPS organizes Bhoomi Poojan for construction of world class school | | |

Delhi Public School, SMVDU, Katra organized Bhoomi Poojan in the premises of SMVDU University for the construction of world class school. Bhoomi Poojan took place in the presence of vice chancellor SMVDU N.K Bansal who was the chief guest.
The DPS building will complete its first phase in 31st March 2007 and within three years full school will b ready for imparting quality and global education.
Schools will have all modern facilities like swimming pool, skating ring, and well equipped library and will also start hostel for girls and boys separately, with pure vegetarian food.
The function was attended by the parents, prominent citizens of Katra D. Joseph Principal Delhi Public School Jammu while speaking about the studies of school activities since its inception besides winning medals by these students of DPS Katra.
Prof. Bansal spoke high management of school particularly for K.Ritu Singh who was immediately agreed to open branch of DPS Katra in the campus for the welfare of University employees and to impart quality education to their children. He also thanked the management of DPS society New Delhi for their immediate response; he also thanks his Excellency Governor S.K Sinha for supporting this noble cause.
