KATHUA, August 21: Bharti Mukti Morcha (BMM) has organised massive demonstration protest against the union government of India for not conducting the census on the basis of OBC community.
The protest was led by the president of BMM Master Karam Chand resented over the attitude of the union government towards the OBC classes.
He said that in the Indian Parliament it was decided on 6th and 7th of May of 2010 to conduct the census on the basis of caste and assured that the census would be conducted on the basis of caste but when the census was taken to conduct then union government has rejected the option of caste based census due to which the resentment has been developed among the OBC classes across the country.
Moreover he urged the union regime to take serious and effective steps to include the census on the basis caste in which OBC would also be considered. In the protest demonstration Prajapati president Chuni Lal, Ex-MLC Chuni Lal and others were also present.
