Doors open for all socialist forces in Congress: Peerzada
Five BJP leaders along with hundreds of supporters join PCC

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee got a shot in arm when five district, block and ward level leaders of BJP along with their hundreds of supporters joined the Congress party here today.
Those who joined the party included Shamsher Singh Chib, BJP Ward President, Paloura, Romal Singh Salaria, member District Committee BJP, Sher Singh, Ramesh Singh , members ward committee and Madan Singh Chib of Barn, Bhalwal Block. Hundreds of their supports also joined the Congress party.
Led by Rajni Bala Corporator and President Block Congress Committee Paloura Talanter Singh President BCC Bhalwal, the former BJP leaders and workers visited the PCC headquarters and announced their joining the Congress party.
PCC President Peerzada Mohammed Sayed, Vice President Parduman Singh, former Minister Mula Ram, General Secretary Vinod Sharma, Amolak Singh, Baldev Sharma, Maheshwar Singh, Raval Matoo and Hari Singh Chib welcomed them in the party.
Welcoming the new entrants, the PCC President said that Congress party is based on the principals of secularism, socialism and democracy and anybody who adopts these principals could join this largest political organization of the country and render his service to the people of all walks of life. He asked the party workers to get themselves abreast about the welfare schemes launched by the Central and the State Governments and take these to the people at the grass roots level so that maximum people especially poor and down trodden sections of the society get benefited from these schemes.
Shamsher Singh Chib and others who joined the party today expressed their full faith in the leadership of Congress party and its principles and said that they were fed up of the communal and biased attitude of the BJP party which forced them to quit the party and join Congress in the larger interests of the state and its people.
