| National integration camp concludes | | |

The 10-day long celebrations of National Integration Week organized by 48 Rashtriya Rifles concluded at Darhal today amidst great enthusiasm and competitive spirit amongst the students. On the concluding day, the spectators enjoyed the fun of ‘Inter School Fun Sports Competition’, a rare experience both for the participating students and the spectators. The Fun sports included Potato race, 3- leg race, fireman lift and the musical chair in which each of the 12 participating schools fielded their students. A record crowd of about 4000 people witnessed the show.
Nazia Kosser of Government Middle School, Bari Darhal was declared as winner in Potato race, Mohd Amin of National Institute of Education in the 3 leg race, Intikhab Alam of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute in fireman lift and Asif Iqbal of Boys Higher Secondary School in the Musical Chair.
On this occasion the students attired in colourful costumes also presented a variety program depicting the secular fabric of the country
Commanding Officer 48 RR gave away prizes to the winners of different events while the ‘Inter School Championship’ shield was presented to Eagle Public School, Darhal and the Runners-up Trophy to Darhal Public School.
