| Col Gupta accorded warm sendoff on retirement | | |

Col K B Gupta Training Officer in NCC Group Headquarter Jammu and a resident of Jammu was accorded affectionate farewell on his retirement on superannuation here today.
Commissioned in Artillery on December 3,1972 Gupta served at various places including in Yeol Camp, Tanga Valley, Allahabad School of Artillery, Bennaguri, Akhnoor, Kargil and Secunderabad.
Col Gupta a highly qualified officer having done MBA, Masters in Personal Management and Ph.D in Management used to voluntarily train NCC cadets and students who were to appear before the SSB Interviews for joining the Armed Forces as Commissioned Officers and many of the cadets coached by him are now Commissioned Officers in Army, Navy and Air Force.
Talking about his future plans, Col Gupta said that he would continue to stay at Jammu as he wanted to fulfill his ambition of coaching and training more and more NCC cadets voluntarily so that they become commissioned officers.
