Kathua 22 Aug: The condition of Govt. Middle School (Boys) at Mukharji Chowk in Kathua has been worsening for the last 15years and the students are studying without proper infrastructure and facilities under the broken and damaged building at their own risk.
It was the school that has produced MPs, MLAs, top level bureaucrats, top businessmen, many army and police officers because most of the Kathua people have studied in this school.
But now a day nobody takes care and worry about the growing worse condition of the school day by day while the school situated in the heart of city and surrounded by the administrative offices and even top politicians can be seen to place their own programs rallies and etc near the school.
The school building become submerged in water and leaked its roof rainy season even during normal rain, the water has logged in the entire ground of the school, students has no proper place to sit, and the toilet is so bad and broken.
The administration has never been seen serious towards the development of this school and even never seen to hold any programme in the school that might be for the interest of the students.
The politicians are seemed remain confined up to bogus speeches and protest demonstration that has no mean for the public interest while this school is very useful to add the grace of Kathua and may be the most attracting center of the Kathua.
It is fact if the people decided to make pressure on the Govt. and administration there is no doubt this school can be developed as model public school and can give the better and modern education to the students and the public can get the full benefits of this school for better education.
And no need to send their wards for study in Pathankot and any other costly school. So it is the moral duty of each and every citizen of the Kathua to demand the proper development and functioning of this Govt. Middle School (Boys) Kathua with modern system facilities and that may be very useful and top level school for better education. Other side administration that has ever been seen asleep over the matter must be active and come into action seriously to take strong action for the development of this school because it the matter of the students of the Kathua.
