SEPHR conducts one day medical camp

Rajouri Aug 22: Society for Environmental Protection and Human Rights (SEPHR) keeping its mission of serving of far-flang areas has organized one day medical camp in collaboration with sub-district Hospital, Nowshera at Govt. Middle School, Bareri (Nowshera).

In this medical camp free consultation and medicine were given to poor and deserving villagers of the villagers Bareri by Vijay Sahni, BMO, SDH, Nowshera and its team including Arti Rajput, anesthetist, sub-district hospital, Nowshera and Shivani Tuli, medical officer, PHC, Langer (Nowshera).

The camp was actively coordinated by the team of SEPHR led by Mohan Snehi, president, Satish Syal, gen. secretary, Raj Kumar, joint secretary and sarpanch village Bareri Mukund Lal and its panchayat team.

Vijay Sahni, BMO, Nowshera in its address to the gathering elaborated various programmes currently run by the health department under National Rural Health Mission (NHRM) and other schemes announced by the Govt. time to time.

He assured every possible health and round the clock facility to the patient coming to hospital for treatment.

While talking to media Arti and Shivani said that patients they have examined were women and children who have common problem of anemia, malnourishment, skin diseases etc.

They have stressed upon adolescent education and awareness among the adolescent girls. Describing it as most important for their further life Shivani stressed that most of adolescent girls she examined were unaware about their sexual health.

Mohan Snehi, president of the SEPHR appreciated efforts of Vilay Sahni, BMO, Nowshera,

Arti Rajput and Shivani Tuli for giving selfless service and free medicines to villagers despite Sunday an universally acclaimed holiday. Satish Syal, gen. secretary presented vote of thanks and requested BMO Nowshera for organizing such medical camps in future too for villagers of this border belt.
