IGNOU convocation on September 5 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Aug 23: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will hold its 24th convocation on September 5, at the University’s main campus at Maidan Garhi for students passing in June 2011 Term- End Examination (TEE), announced Vice-Chancellor V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai. The 24th convocation will be held at the Sanchar Kendra in University’s main campus at Maidan Garhi from 2:30 p.m. onwards. It will simultaneously be organized at the 44 Regional centres including the Regional Centre Jammu. All the eligible candidates who have completed their respective programmes in June 2011 Term-End Examinations have to submit their Letter of Consent alongwith Registration Fee of `400/- for each Degree/Diploma (through Demand Draft only in favour of IGNOU, Payable at Jammu). Letters to this effect have already been sent to the eligible candidates through Speed Post from IGNOU New Delhi. Letter of consent can be downloaded from IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. Award of gold medals to the meritorious students will be given for June 2011 Term End Examination. In this regard, G. Ram Reddy Memorial Medal, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Cash award, CEMCA cash award and Grover award December 2010 and June 2011 TEE will also be taken into account.
