| GDC Bishnah organize painting competition | | |

Jammu, Aug 23: GDC Bishnah organized a painting competition on the theme “peace & harmony” to mark the ‘Sadbhavna Week Celebration” organised by Kiran Pathania, NSS, Programme Officer.
Kalpana Kesar, principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion.
While addressing the students, she stressed the need of establishment of peace & harmony for growth & developments of individual, in particular & the society, in general. She encouraged the students in participating in such extracurricular activities, thereby making themselves aware of the problem surrounding them & contribute in evolving viable solution.
Further, 14 NSS volunteers participated in the painting competition under the supervision of Kiran Pathania.
Among the participants Rakesh Jamwal, Nitaksha Sharma & Shivalee Khajuria of B.A. Part- II were adjudged as Ist, IInd & IIIrd winners of the event. Raj Kumar of B.A. Part-I & Afriza of B.A. Part-II were nominated for consolation prize.
The competition was adjudged by the panel of judges comprising Vijay Sharma, Sunita Gupta, Alka Sharma. Preeti Dogra & Jugal Kishore were also present on the occasion.
