NSF nominates Sunil as district Sr Vice President | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 23: National Secular Forum (NSF) today nominated Sunil Sharma as District Sr Vice-President, Jammu. The nomination of Sunil was made by Vikas Sharma, State President, in consultation with Ravi Choudhary, district President, Jammu. Sunil is an old NSF activist and was President Akhnoor Tehsil before this appointment. He is presently panch in Mandi. His appointment was made during a meeting at Jammu head office, where a large number of NSF workers included Amit Sharma, Vinod Sharma, tehsil vice president Akhnoor and Pawan Sharma, District Secretary were present in the meeting. Addressing the workers, NSF president Vikas Sharma lambasted the higher education department for enduring on the issue of the contractual lecturers due to which the students community misery a lot. He demanded that the contractual lecturers of government degree colleges should be regularized without any further delay. Sharma also condemned the MLAs from Jammu region for maintaining criminal silence in Assembly over the injustice to Jammu youth. He reiterated the demand for bifurcation of PSC that is, one each at Jammu and Kashmir so that genuine candidates could be selected. Sharma alleged that favouritism and nepotism is looming large in the job interviews in Jammu University. In the ongoing interviews of clerical and other grades, the candidates are being asked to pay for their selection, he further alleged. He also demanded probe in interviews as well.
