| Bus driver's protest at Katra | | | KATRA: In protest against the incident of beating of a bus driver by some miscreants here four days back, bus drivers protested today at the bus stand here for three hours.
Bus driver Ved Prakash, son of Munshi Ram of Miran Sahib, Jammu, was beaten by some unknown miscreants here Saturday last.
When other bus drivers came to know that there was no improvement in his condition at the GMC hospital, Jammu, they today suspended bus services for three hours and held a protest.
They later ended their dharna on the assurance of senior police officers that accused would be held soon. |
