BGBSU merely money minting institution? | | | Early Times Report rajouri, Aug 23: Despite receiving Rs 2 crore grant from Auqaf department of the state, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has become money minting machine. It has been enrolling the students without giving them proper educational facilities. There are also large scale complaints of appointment of ineligible and inexperienced teachers in the University which has put question mark on the future of enrolled students who spent Lakhs of rupees on fee. Sources said that the University is collecting crores of admission, tuition and hostel fee from the students and each student has to pay huge money for education. However they are not being given proper educational facilities. "In comparison to other University, this University has no such facilities and people are being looted on the name of 24 hour Internet, good faculty, hostel and mess facilities," students alleged. As per sources, University has engaged untrained teachers especially in college of engineering and technology and people having degrees of B-Tech are teaching B-Tech students. On the condition of anonymity, students of this College said that all the teachers are untrained and they have no knowledge and experience to teach Engineering. "These people might have been engaged on the basis of their influence as they are not capable to teach engineering," a student said. Students of the other departments are also feeling unwell in the Varsity. Students allege that although there is requirement of JRF, NET qualified as University teacher, maximum teachers in Science, Math, MBA, MCA, Engineering College and Finance are not having requisite qualification to become Assistant Professor of a University which put question mark on the credibility of the University when compared to other Universities of the state who had follow guidelines in appointments. |
