| CU-J should be started at the earliest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 23: Jammu West Assembly MLA Prof Chaman Lal Gupta along with other MLAs called on vice chancellor Central University-Jammu S S Baloria.
Accompanied by MLA R S Pura Prof Gharu Ram, MLA Raipur Domana Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, MLA Basoli Jagdish Raj Sapolia, Prof Gupta opined that his appointment as vice chancellor of Central University Jammu will be good for the development of CU-J.
He however hailed the appointment of S S Baloria as first vice chancellor of central university Jammu.
He said that student of Jammu regions suffered a lot because of delay in establishment of Central University-Jammu.
The MLA appealed to the newly appointed vice chancellor to make arrangements for the start of first academic session of CU-J.
The vice chancellor assured the MLAs that authority will not waste further time and measures had already been taken for the start of the functioning of CU-J.
