Multifaceted creative literary meet held | | |
EARLY TIMES REPOT Jammu, Aug 24: Continuing with its mission to promoted the sense of literary creativities, and creating an atmosphere to show its respect of the Urdu and other languages, Adbi Kunj held another multifaceted creative literary meet at its literary centre, in the premises of New Shastri Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Talab Tillo, Jammu, which was presided over by a well known Punjabi, singer and poet S. Raj Pal Singh Mastana, while another known Punjab and Urdu poet, Gurbaksh Talib was the chief guest of the meet. A large gathering of literary figures and other lovers of various literatures of different languages participated. In the opening of the meet, Sham Talib, president of the Adbi Kunj J&K Jammu, congratulated the veteran poet and song writer producer, director and writer Sampuran Singh, alias Gulzar on this 75th birthday. On the occasion various speakers threw detailed light on the various aspects of his writing ways. Adbi Kunj also congratulated prominent Kashmiri poet and writer, Gulam Nabi Aatish, for selected for Sahitya Academy Award, 2011 for writing the best book for children in Kashmiri languages entitled as –“Nov-Kin-Sha-Menesha”.
