Jammu, August-24 (JNF):- Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu . MS Parihar today allowed the seven days CBI remand of four alleged impersonators in MBBS/BDS Scam.
Today CBI produced Shahzeb s/o Khateeb Ahmed Malik r/o Bareli UP, Shahnawaz Hussain s/o Bashir Ahmed r/o Nowabad Sunjwan Jammu, Naveen Mishra s/o Om Parkash r/o Hatta Bazaar Mohinder Garh Harayana and Mohd Ashraf Hamal s/o Ghulam Mohd Hamal r/o Nai Basti near P/S Kralkhud Srinagar.
The Court after hearing Senior Public Prosecutor . SK Bhat with MS Brar DySP ACB for CBI and gone through the application for remand and the case dairy, transpires that four accused had been arrested by CBI on August 23, 2011 in case FIR u/s 419/420/467/468/471 RPC r/w section 120-B RPC and Section 2/5 PUE Act of 1987, CBI seeking custodial interrogation of the accused in order to complete the investigation in the case, granted seven days custody of the accused.
It is worthwhile to mention here that this case was initially investigated by Gandhi Nagar Police Station and later on case was transferred to CBI because of the big-wigs of J&K State are allegedly involved. JNF
