JOURIAN, August 24: Large number of activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) Akhnoor unit led by District Senior vice-president Sunil Sharma, staged demonstration and even a mass rally protest was also held in Jourian against the administration and the black marketing of cooking gas.
He said that people have said that for the last one year Indian Oil has its dealer in Malal, but the people of Jourian, Mandhi are not given the facility of home delivery by the company dealer which has resulted in black marketing of the cooking cylinder in the area.
Sharma also added that in this summer much kerosene oil was sold in black marketing. And due to such reason the poor people have to remain without kerosene oil. Stating this matter as serious they appealed the concerned authorities to check in this regard so that there would be an equal distribution of kerosene oil among Jourian people and further curb the black marketing.
He said that police has not even taken any action against the people who are engaged in black marketing of cooking gas and kerosene oil in the area.
Vinod Sharma, General Secretary, Akhnoor tehsil has supported the crusade of social activist Anna Hazare against corruption.
He also said, “J&K is the second most corrupt state in the country and soon it would soon replace Bihar from the top spot. Under such circumstances it should be the responsibility of J&K citizens to support Hazare whole heartedly.”
Among those who were present in the protest included Vinod Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Anil Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Rahul, Rohit, Sanjay Sharma, Muna and others.
