| Teacher manhandles Principal over trivial issue | | |

DARHAL, Aug 24:
A teacher of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Darhal has allegedly manhandled the Principal over a trivial issue.
According to reports, a teacher has allegedly thrashed the Principal following which both sides have levelled serious allegations on each other.
Sources said that the teacher had approached Principal for some adjustments which resulted in verbal duel between the two. Although other staff members tried to pacify, both teacher and Principal thrashed each other.
Sources said that following the incident, Principal approached District Development Commissioner Rajouri Ghulam Ahmed Khwaja who reportedly directed the police to lodge an FIR against the teacher for his alleged misbehaviour. DDC has also directed Chief Education Officer Makhan Lal to investigate the matter for which CEO himself took stock of the situation in the School along with District Education and Planning Officer Arif Malik.
Both the officers have prepared a detailed report which is likely to be submitted to DDC for further necessary action.
