| Sikh organisations demand probe into trainee woman SI's death | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 24: Three Sikh organizations have demanded a judicial probe into the death of trainee woman sub-inspector Parneet Kour (26) at police training academy (PTA) in Udhampur Sunday last.
Parneet – a resident of Lower Gadi Garh – was found hanging from the ceiling fan hook in a room of non-gazetted officers’ girls hostel at PTA.
Demanding a judicial probe into the incident, Bhai Nishkam Seva Society, Nirbhao Nirbair Organisation and All India Sikh Students Federation jointly protested outside the Pree Club here.
They urged chief minister Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter and order a judicial probe to find out the truth.
