| J&K speedball team wins runner-up championship trophy | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 24: J&K players excelled through medals in the north India speed ball championship held at New Delhi in which about 300 students from 6 states participated.
The 14 members’ team from J&K participated under the supervision of Sunny Nanda (An Asian medalist in Kuwait) while the team manger was Aditya Jain & distt coach Anil, Sachin, Mohd. Bashir were also present in the event.
J&K team won runners up champion trophy while Delhi got 1st place & Haryana secured 3rd place.
The J&K state won 9gold, 3 silver & 3 bronze respectively. The best super solo champion award was won by Heena Bali .The chairperson Indra Bhalla & president Anil Nanda congratulated the team for the best performance of the team players & coach Sunny Nanda
