‘Heritage Walk’ organized

JAMMU, August 24: Government Degree College Paloura organised a Heritage Walk from its old University Campus to Mubarak Mandi heritage complex which was flagged off by K C Katoch, General secretary INTACH Jammu chapter and Principal GCET Professor Bhupinder Singh jointly.
K C Katoch in his address emphasized the need and importance of our past. According to him, it is a noble way of educating the youth. Before the walk Professor Hemla Aggarwal, principal of the host college highlighted the importance of heritage walk.
“It is a best way to know study and understand one’s past”, she adds.
In his address Professor Bhupinder Singh also expressed his views on the subject and appreciated the unique way of educating youth through this medium about their culture, heritage and history more than 150 students participated in this walk from College Campus to Heritage Complex.
