Delay in the regularization of In-charge lecturers condemned

Jammu, Aug 25: The delay in the regularization of Incharge lecturers is a matter of serious concern in the cadre.
This was stated by H.D Qureshi president All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum while addressing a meeting of central executive at Jammu.
The House seriously viewed the deliberate and prolonged delay in the regularization of incharge incumbents in the department and termed it as criminal silence and exploitation of human labour.
The House expressed its surprise that even after the decision of state cabinet for regularization of Incharge incumbents within a period of three months nothing concrete has been done.
The House regretted that despite announcements of Minister of Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed for regularization of all Incharge incumbents through State Cabinet the decisions are inconclusive and the incumbents’ are awaiting for regularization since 1998 onwards.
H.D Qureshi the president of the Forum while speaking on the occasion expressed his full faith on the sincere initiatives of Minister For Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed for regularization and appealed to both minister and commissioner education for their personal intervention to eradicate the decades long problem of “ Inchargism” Qureshi expressed his gratitude to the Minister for Education for devising a new mechanism for regularization under the chairmanship of PSC chairman and all other concerned commissioners as its members.
Qureshi informed that the Forum has further intensified its efforts and a state level delegation led by Manzoor Ahmed state president and other members of central executive both from Kashmir and Jammu region comprising Charan Dass, N.S Jamwal , Bashir Ahmed, O.P Katoch, Intiaz Kazmi and Arunesh Kumar met with Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed Minister for Education, Commissioner Education Naseem Lankar and other authorities and discussed various issues confronting the cadre.
The main issues on the agenda of delegation were immediate regularization of all incharge incumbents, benefit of running pattern up gradation of Hr. Sec Schools as “ Intermediate Colleges’, Re- organization of the department and other areas of concern
Both the minister and commissioner after a comprehensive discussion assured the delegation that issue of regularization and up gradation of Hr. sec School as “ Intermediate Colleges” are under the active consideration of Government and all other issues are being resolved on priority that include the benefit of Running Pattern.
Besides the delegation also met the Chairman and Secretary BOSE at Srinagar and apprised them the prevailing situation with suggestive proposals for the betterment in the field of School Education.
The Forum also registered its protest for appointment of college teachers in the areas of School Education
Other who spoke on the occasion include Manmeet Bali vice president, Ashwani Sharma chief organiser, B.D Sharma district president Jammu and many others.
B.D Sharma chief spoke person of the Forum released the proceedings.
