| Anna Team should respond to PM’s appeal to end fast | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
New Delhi,Aug 25: Bhim Singh, chairman, National Panthers Party and member, National Integration Council hoped that Anna Team with their vast experience in practical life shall persuade social activist Anna Hazare to end his 10 days old fast on the appeal by Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India and the leader of opposition Sushma Swaraj on behalf of the Parliament to end his fast as the cause he has undertaken against corruption has been duly registered by the government and the Parliament.
The NPP chief made a strong appeal to the youth of the country who have been expressing their support for the cause taken up by Anna Hazare to eliminate corruption in the country, to appreciate the speech made by Prime Minister of India on the floors of the Parliament this morning endorsing the movement against corruption to build a strong India and bring a strong Lokpal to check the menace of corruption at all levels.
Let the youth of the country and supporters of Anna who are his well-wishers and well-wishers of a democratic India raised the slogans requesting Anna to end fast and support Parliament to enact a strong Lokpal.
Singh has sent an amendment in Jan Lokpal and in the Lokpal already pending before the Parliamentary Committee seeking amendment in all the proposed Lokpal Bills to include entire India in the Lokpal including Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhim Singh said that this amendment is no less consequential than inclusion of PM in the Lokpal.
The amendment proposed by the chief of the Panthers Party says, “ That the Lokpal Bill/Jan Lokpal Bill shall be applicable to the entire country including Jammu and Kashmir."
