| DFP Udhampur organize Quami Ekta Fotnight | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 25: Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Udhampur formally launched the Qaumi Ekta Fortnight which is scheduled upto 2nd September by administering a pledge by the employees regarding maintenance of integrity and harmony during the Sadbhavna fortnight.
The unit also organized a special interactive programme at Udhampur involving youth of the schools to aware them about their responsibilities towards a healthy, prosperous and integrated society. About a dozen students participated in the symposium which was rewarded suitably, on the spot.
Besides participants, guest speakers also enlightened the audience about the significance of the fortnight and recalled the sacrifices of late Prime Minster who laid down his life for the maintenance of harmony and sadbhavna.
The audience, especially the youth were advised to follow the footsteps of our veteran leaders like Rajiv Gandhi to built up an atmosphere of brotherhood and unity in the country for our overall development.
