| GOC White Knight Corp visit Military Hospital | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 25: Lt Gen JP Nehra, General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps and Nirmala Nehra, chairperson, White Knight Family Welfare Organisation visited Military Hospital, Jammu Cantt today.
The General was received by Brig AS Bansal, Brig Med White Knight Corps and Col Shashi Bhushan, Officiating Commandant of 166 Military Hospital. Bansal and Bhushan welcomed Nirmala Nehra.
Col Shashi Bhushan, Offg Comdt conducted the visit of the General in the hospital. Col Pithwa also accompanied him. The General was appraised of the new hospital project and functioning of the ECHS.
The General was very appreciative of the professionalism and commended the excellent work by all ranks in providing patient care and attending to the casualties in this hospital which is one of the busiest hospital in the armed forces.
Niramala Nehra accompanied by Bansal and Bhushan visited each and every ward in the hospital and deeply interacted with the patients and family members.
She became emotional when a little girl presented her a bouquet of roses and welcomed her in the pediatrics ward.
She also interacted with battle casualties and war widows who were being treated in the hospital and assured them to get the best possible help from the hospital.
Nirmala Nehra distributed sweets and presented gifts to the patients as a goodwill gesture and boosted their morale.
