| Commerce faces PG to defend basketball title | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, August 25: Government SPMR College of Commerce shall be playing against the same opponent they defeated last year, the PG Departments to defend the inter-college basketball title tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, played today, Commerce College outplayed Government MAM College in a high scoring game 56-39. Shubam Sharma and Nipan played exceptionally well from winners Commerce College while Govind fought well for MAM.
In other semi-final, the combined side of PG Departments trounced Government Degree College Kathua 52-21. Ranbir Singh was maximum scorer from winners PG Departments.
Today’s semifinals were officiated by penal of experts including Aman Sharma, Rajinder Magotra, Amarjit Singh (SAI), Mohd Shahi (State Sports Council) and Manoj Kumar Solanki.
