| CM’s Srinagar office disposes off 250 memoranda, | | | Jammu, Dec 2 Memorandas of some 250 deputations and 600 individual cases received in the Chief Minister’s Private Office, Srinagar during the month of November last have been diarized, brought to the notice of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and taken up with the concerned departments for redressal of grievances. Giving this information, the Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Kakroo stated that the deputations which approached Chief Minister’s Srinagar private office during the month of November included inhabitants of Sirhama, Anantnag requesting for construction of Lift Irrigation scheme, residents of Chattabal, Srinagar demanding development of Park and Graveyard, residents of Kunan, Kupwara praying for removal of encroachment, a delegation of Welfare Committee, Rawalpora requesting for construction of road, Sudhar Committee Drabgam, Pulwama requesting for establishment of Tehsil Headquarter at Drabgam, Awami Welfare Forum, Sherabad, Pattan, Baramulla demanding stoppage of extraction of building material from local Nalla, All J&K Pasmanda Tabkajat Committee demanding privileges at par with other backward communities, residents of Halmatpora, Kupwara demanding construction of road and Coordination Committee, Housing Colony Bemina demanding allotment of land for Graveyard, deputation from Peernar, Lalgam, Tral demanding that the establishment of Stone Crusher in the area should be banned, Delegation from Tekipora, Budgam demanding opening of Food Store at Mirgund, Delegation from Chetti-Bandi, Bandipora demanding release of ex-gratia relief on account of earthquake damage, delegation of Gujjar and Bakarwal community from Shopian demanding contractual appointments for local candidates of ST Community, Welfare Committee Pampore demanding compensation on account of land donated for construction of Grid and Gas Turbine and Dawasaz Union Kupwara demanding releasing of selection list for which interviews by SSRB have been held in 2005. Besides, a deputation of retired police officers led by Shri Shams Ahmed Khan, IGP (Retd) sought implementation of the Ex-police Personnel Welfare Scheme sanctioned in the year 1999. The issues have been sent to the concerned quarters for speedy and appropriate disposal and action taken reports sought for the perusal of the Chief Minister. The private Office of the Chief Minister at M-3, Church Lane, Srinagar is functioning from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. everyday except Saturdays and Sundays.
