Thousands attended Jumat-ul-Vida prayers in Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kishtwar Aug 26:- Like in different parts of the state, thousands of people thronged to various mosques in Kishtwar district to participate in prayers of Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of holy month of Ramzan. The main prayers were offered at Jamia Masjid Kishtwar where more than 10,000 people participated in Nimaz and special prayers, similar reports were receiving from different areas of Kishtwar district, where people in large number reached the nearby mosques to offer their prayers. While addressing the people, the religious scholars threw the light on the importance of holy month of Ramzan, which is considered as the month of blessing and forgiveness. On this occasion special prayers were offered for unity and brotherhood among the Muslims brethrens of the world, beside for peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir, it was also stressed upon the Government for initiating independent probe in the alleged reports of unidentified mass level graves in Kashmir, so that culprits could be punished and justice could be delivered to the effected families, whose near and dears are missing since last so many years. Special prayers were also offered for eternal peace to the braved families who have lost his kith and kin’s in various tragic road accidents across the Chenab region.
